Well done

To Strathclyde's finest for finally taking action against the bigots. I notice some Rangers fans lead by David Egghead and the RST are now complaining about being victimised.
Well if that's not a taste of your own medicine I don't know what is.
It should never have got to this point, the bigots should have been silenced by their own support long ago.
So there's another first for the bears, first set of fans in Scotland to get a Police warning.

Here's hoping it ends now and I can put this blog out to pasture....that would be a great day for our Country.

At it again

The Rangers bigots never learn, but why should they?? they never get punished, not even a £500 fine.
At the end of the day although Sir David Murray and Rangers as a club have tried their best, the club are ultimately responsible for their support and as such should be sanctioned.

This time it was the SFA president who witnessed it, but he's passed the buck to the SPL.

It will be interesting to see if any action is taken.

I nearly forgot

Big Arthur got fined £500 for making a gesture towards a shower of uneducated bigots.
I say well done Arthur money well spent there but I think your being a bit stingy.
The wages your on you could have afforded to use 2 hands and flashed your arse at them, I reckon that would only have cost you a days wages.

Strange "PEOPLE"

I get some amazingly mind numbing stuff sent as comments from the "people" most of which never reaches here.
I like this one from Mr Anonymous who keeps sending comments about how bored he is of me and my wee blog...oh the sadness that has brought me..pmsl.

Ok, I'm a wee bit bewildered here, this is this dudes 12th comment which basically centre around some form of school yard attempt at sarcasm. He/she /it claims to be bored and tired of the blogs but yet has some strange compulsion to read and react to it constantly.
This brings me nicely round to the constant carping from this individual about my ego and need to have it stroked.
Lets look at it. Who really is craving attention or wanting their ego stroked here?

1. Someone like me who raises legitimate concerns of thousands of people in our society?
or
2.Someone who constantly replies with comments that never address any of the concerns raised but merely carps on about spelling and has some strange infatuation with this blog?

As for the even handedness he/she/it obviously never read the blog about IRA singing by Celtic fans or the one praising the efforts of Sir David Murray to eradicate bigotry and sectarianism from the Rangers support.

So I'd like to take this opportunity to thank he/she/it for the comments but now I'm bored and as such wont be reading he/she/it's guff any more...straight to delete from now on.

This sort of behaviour has to be questionable, the Internet encourages free speech which is commendable and right. But unfortunately it attracts Trolls.

I personally don't care if anyone reads this, it's simply a good way for me to clear my thoughts. No one is under any obligation to read these never mind comment on them.

Fortunately enough the majority of Celtic and Rangers fans are behaving responsibly and cleaning up their act, pity the same can't be said for the trolls.

How good guests should behave

Once again the well loved and travelled Celtic support gained high praise from local authorities on their good natured invasion of a foreign city.
This has partly restored the tarnished reputation of Scots abroad after the shamefull scenes witnessed earlier in the year in Manchester.
Congratulation Bhoys and Ghirls even in defeat you have represented Celtic Football Club and the Scottish people in a fun, orderly and dignified manner.

Celtic fans are praised by manchester police

CELTIC fans have been praised for their behaviour by Manchester police as they provided another positive example to everyone on how to support their team regardless of the result.

Despite the disappointment of losing 3-0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford in the UEFA Champions League, the Celtic support further enhanced their excellent reputation and that of the Club during the visit to Manchester.

Match Commander Superintendent John Graves of Greater Manchester Police said: “I have no doubt that, for those Celtic fans who made the trip to Old Trafford for the Champions League fixture against Manchester United, it was a long and eventful day.

“Whilst I know the result of the game wasn't what Celtic fans would have wanted, the result of the overall event surely was. Any major sporting event is a challenge to police, and a sell-out crowd at one of the nation's largest stadiums for a game between two of Britain's greatest clubs, has to rank amongst the biggest.

“Making such events a success is not just down to the police and the clubs, it’s a responsibility of everyone involved, especially the supporters.

“As the Police Match Commander at Old Trafford, I would like to pass on my thanks to those Celtic fans who came to support their club in the finest traditions of genuine football fans, and ambassadors of Glasgow.

“From a policing and safety perspective, the game was a great success. There were very few incidents and arrests, and nothing that should detract from a great footballing occasion.

“I have to say that Celtic Football Club has every right to be proud of its fans. Those who braved the night in a windy and wet Manchester were a credit to the club.

“I would also like to compliment the Celtic stewards who helped tremendously throughout the game and added great value to the safety operation.

“We have a cliche in Manchester about the eyes of Europe being upon Old Trafford during these massive football games, and this was no exception.

“I believe that Celtic fans did a great deal to enhance not only the club's reputation across Europe, but also their own - well done.”

Celtic Chief Executive Peter Lawwell said: "I would like to thank our supporters for their magnificent behaviour in travelling to Manchester and supporting the team at Old Trafford.

"Once again, Celtic fans have shown themselves to be tremendous ambassadors for our club and our city and they have further enhanced the good name of Celtic Football Club in European football.

I just love doing this

It's fantastic being able to antagonise the very “People” who have spent their shallow lives antagonising everyone else in the country for not being as bigoted as themselves.

Some of the replies I get are beyond funny though I’m sad to say it gives me a small glimpse into a sad side of Scottish society. Someone suggested I should take up the mantle of freeing the world from poverty, I wish I could but I can’t. What I can do though is rattle the cages of small minded bigots in this country.

When will these people learn? The owner of their club and their manager detests them; most of the population detest them. They have now been reduced to a rag bag assortment of right wing loonies that make the BNP look like the Boy Scouts.

The war's over boys, it finished about 300 yrs ago. Do us all a favour and try to catch up with the rest of us.

I canny wait to hear the Rangers fans booing him for turning has back on his country....like that's going to happen.

There's a difference. Boyd was given the chance to play for Scotland, Aiden was not.

Still hardly a shock is it he just adds his name to a growing list of Scottish Rangers players who have turned their back on their country.

Getting lots of abusive comments from bitter bears which is great. It's proving what bitter twisted wee people they are.
Not one of them has the balls to leave their email address which is a shame because it would be great to send them back a wee note of thanks for proving how thick they are.
